XRP has recorded two major all-time high events in its history. The first occurred in January 2018, when the token reached approximately $3.37–$3.84 depending on the exchange, driven by the 2017–2018 cryptocurrency bull market and massive retail interest in altcoins.

The January 2018 peak was remarkable: in just one year, XRP went from $0.006 to over $3.00 — a gain exceeding 50,000%. At the peak, Ripple's market capitalization briefly eclipsed $130 billion, and XRP momentarily ranked as the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, overtaking Ethereum.

The second all-time high came on July 18, 2025, when XRP reached $3.65. This new peak was supported by multiple catalysts: the resolution of the SEC lawsuit against Ripple Labs, growing institutional adoption of XRP-based payment solutions, and a broader crypto market rally driven by Bitcoin ETF flows and favorable US regulatory developments.

XRP reached its current all-time high of $3.65 on July 18, 2025, surpassing the previous record set in January 2018.

At the time of writing in March 2026, XRP trades around $1.40 — approximately 62% below its all-time high. Analysts tracking the XRP historical price chart point to the current level as a potential accumulation zone, with some forecasts targeting $8+ by late 2026 if key resistance levels are breached.
